Research Scouts Bring a Secret Sauce to Project Teams’ Success

In 2020, 100Kin10 launched and experimented with utilizing “Research Scouts” to support Project Teams. The Scouts play a critical role for teams by helping them to avoid starting from scratch or reinventing the wheel. One way they do this is by conducting research and exploring open questions about existing best practices for teams. They also help others benefit from the knowledge the Project Teams are compiling and generating by documenting and sharing learnings from the teams with others working on similar issues through Catalyst Communities and with the broader network. This also helps keep the knowledge alive across the network.

Participants in our 2021 teams raved about their Research Scouts, Ellie Goldberg and Toni Stith:

"

“Ellie was great. She really kept asking us the hard questions.”

“Toni was instrumental in our success. She not only provided the research needed, but was truly a part of our team.”
